The CAA-1000-AP Single Head, fully automatic capping machine, is complete with cap sorter, cap chute with bottle pick-off, indexing infeed star, and stainless steel conveyor. This automatic chuck capper sorts, places and torques caps. Caps are individually picked up by the mechanical swing arm and moved to the capping head. A pneumatic clamp securely holds the cap in capping head. The container then moves under the capping station as the cap is accurately placed and torqued onto the bottle threads. This machine is intended for production speeds of less than 50 per minute for bottles, small vials or "miniatures". Larger bottles will reduce the speed, which is a function of the number of pockets capable of being fit into the fixed circumference of the indexing star.
